I love the colors that you show in this piece. By focusing on the red -orange end of things, you evoke a specific type of emotional and intellectual response. The idea of heat / fire is balanced by the dew-drops, which also remind me of icicles.
The combination of fire and ice is very powerful, and also makes my mind leap toward all sorts of strongly volatile pairings, mostly from fiction. This is a good thing, to my mind.

And yet, this is still a picture from nature, reminding me (and others) of the inherent beauty all around, provided we simply look!
